Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the leadership style, then to be able to know how the work performance of employees, and to find out how the work performance of employees in the Food and Beverage service department at Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, the number of samples used was 30 people. The research method that will be used is descriptive correlational or can be called a quantitative approach. In this study data collection techniques that will be used are questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive method and rank spearman correlational analysis. The results of this study show that the leadership style used is a democratic leadership style, then based on answers from respondents regarding employee work performance can be seen that the work performance is quite satisfactory. Then there is a positive effect but in low category which is 0.327 between leadership styles on employee work performance. While the magnitude of the influence between leadership styles on employee work performance is 32.7%, while the remaining 67.3% is influenced by other factors not examined such as: motivation and work compensation of employees.
