Abstract
Bekisting konvensional masih menjadi pilihan mayoritas pelaksana industri konstruksi di Indonesia. Sementara, penggunaan bekisting jenis ini tidak ramah lingkungan karena tidak hanya menghabiskan sumber daya kayu, tetapi juga menyisakan limbah konstruksi yang cukup banyak. Teknologi dan inovasi di bidang konstruksi terus berkembang seiring dengan perubahan zaman, salah satunya yaitu aluminium formwork. Metode bekisting ini tersistem dan berbahan dasar aluminium sehingga dapat digunakan hingga ratusan kali dan merupakan teknologi minim limbah. Namun, metode ini belum banyak diketahui dan digunakan di Indonesia. Suatu penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor preferensi kontraktor dalam menggunakan metode aluminium formwork pada pembangunan apartemen di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan melalui dua tahap penyebaran kuesioner kepada kontraktor dengan proyek pembangunan apartemen yang berada di Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi. Dari 31 faktor yang diteliti, dilakukan reduksi dengan metode RII (Relative Importance Index) dan kemudian diolah dengan metode AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) untuk mengetahui peringkat faktor yang memengaruhi dalam pemilihan metode bekisting serta pilihan bekisting yang lebih baik di antara keduanya. Dari analisis yang dilakukan, faktor durasi floor to floor menjadi prioritas terutama kontraktor dalam memilih metode bekisting diikuti faktor harga terpasang bekisting, serta tingkat akurasi dan presisi hasil pekerjaan. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa preferensi kontraktor dalam memilih metode bekisting adalah aluminium formwork sebesar 79% dan bekisting konvensional sebesar 21%. Temuan ini dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi kontraktor untuk mulai beralih dari bekisting konvensional kepada aluminium formwork dengan keunggulan-keunggulan yang ditawarkan.
