Abstract
Akulturasi budaya dan kuliner banyak dijumpai pada masyarakat perkotaan, salah satunya adalah masyarakat Tionghoa Benteng Tangerang. Proyek story telling ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kuliner khas Tionghoa Benteng Peranakan, mengetahui proses distribusi, sejarah, dan makna simbolik kuliner Tionghoa Benteng Peranakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah yang meliputi heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Kami memilih beberapa kuliner khas Cina Benteng Peranakan untuk dibahas dalam proyek story telling, termasuk Asinan Lanjin, Laksa Bihun Ci Ikim, Dodol Ny. Lauw, Ikan Cengcuan, dan aneka macam kue tradisional. Dari hasil tersebut terlihat ternyata Makanan Tradisional Tionghoa di Tangerang sangat banyak dan masih eksis hingga saat ini.
