Abstract
Kegiatan produksi merupakan sebuah aktivitas penting bagi masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat melalui berbagai macam jenis produk. Produk – produk yang dihasilkan memerlukan kemasan baik dari kemasan primer sampai sekunder unutk melindungi produk didalamnya. Namun dari kegiatan ini baik dari proses produksi sampai dengan sisa produk setelah dipakai pastinya akan menghasilkan limbah, seperti limbah kertas berupa kardus bekas & kertas bekas serta sisa makanan seperti kulit kacang merupakan contoh jenis limbah yang dihasilkan dengan kuantitas yang cukup banyak perharinya diberbagai bagain dunia. Untuk menangani masalah ini diperlukan kegiatan daur ulang untuk mengurangai jumlah limbah tersebut. Daur ulang ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengolah limbah tersebut untuk dijadikan produk hasil daur ulang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen yang dilakukan dengan eksplorasi pembuatan material dari pencampuran olahan kertas bekas yang lebih spesifiknya kertas HVS dan kulit kacang yang digunakan untuk membuat bahan baku yang nantinya digunakan sebagai material alternatif untuk pembuatan kemasan sekunder seperti kardus.
