Abstract

Banyak jumlah pengusaha di Indonesia yang mencoba mempromosikan bisnis online atau offline di Instagram. Instagram juga menyediakan fitur yang mendukung untuk mereka yang ingin melakukan promosi bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fungsi promosi melalui media sosial Instagram untuk bisnis makanan online (OMG Poteto). Penelitian ini menggunakan teori fungsi promosi, menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Informan pertama adalah Konsultan Makanan & Minuman & Manajemen Media Sosial, informan kedua adalah pemilik OMG Poteto, informan ke-3 adalah pengguna aktif Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi promosi yang dijalankan melalui Instagram termasuk pengenalan, penawaran, penjagaan konsumen, dan perbaikan. Sementara manfaat menerapkan fungsi promosi melalui Instagram adalah dalam bentuk kesadaran merek, loyalitas pelanggan, perbaikan.
