Abstract
Wisata pulau merupakan hal yang tidak asing lagi bagi turis yang ingin mengunjungi Pulau Laskar Pelangi. Keindahan dari pantai yang notabenenya seindah Bali membuat pelancong tertarik untuk pergi mengunjungi Pulau Belitung. Namun, satu-satunya sarana transportasi udara di pulau tersebut mulai tertelan waktu, kapasitasnya juga sudah tidak mencukupi jika disandingkan dengan jumlah turis yang selalu meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Kurangnya sisi identitas di dalam desain terminal bandar udara juga menjadi suatu kendala tersendiri bagi Belitung. Karena itu, pendekatan regionalisme pun diambil untuk memperkenalkan kembali sosok Belitung sebagai pulau wisata di mata dunia yang dimulai dari pintu gerbangnya yaitu terminal bandar udara H.AS. Hanandjoediin.
