Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti data mengenai pengaruh program magang terhadap kesiapan kerja para mahasiswa/i program studi Bisnis Perhotelan di Universitas Podomoro. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat 2 variabel, yaitu program magang sebagai variabel bebas (independent) atau disebut dengan variabel (X), dan kesiapan kerja sebagai variabel terikat (dependent) atau disebut dengan variabel (Y). Masing-masing variabel tersebut memiliki sub variabel, antara lain: 1. Program magang (X) memiliki sub variabel yaitu keterampilan (X1.1), ilmu pengetahuan (X1.2), dan sikap (X1.3) 2. Kesiapan kerja (Y) memiliki sub variabel yaitu kematangan emosi (Y1.1), dan pengalaman (Y1.2) Variabel dan sub variabel tersebut diuji dengan menggunakan metode penelitian korelasi, lalu diukur dengan skala likert dan diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji olah data yang dilakukan, yakni ditemukan adanya pengaruh program magang terhadap kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa/i program studi Bisnis Perhotelan di Universitas Podomoro.
