Abstract
Seruit is a traditional food from Lampung Province, especially Lampung Pepadun. Seruit is from the word nyeruit which means "to do together", because of this tradition seruit has become one of the foods that is always served in family events or Lampung traditional events. There are several important ingredients in this dish, such as; freshwater fish, sambal terasi with rampai, grilled eggplant, tempoyak (fermented durian) and also fresh vegetables. Then it will be mixed by hand until everything is mixed well. This whole process results in a dish that is rich with flavor. Seruit is an iconic food in Lampung Province. Therefore, we would like to introduce this traditional food from Lampung through this documentary, so this tradition will continue. We used a qualitative method in this research. To get primary data, we do interviews with the informant and for secondary data, we get the information from digital books, articles and journals. We also do research using questionnaires to support our data. The result was that 71.4% of respondents did not know about seruit and 95.8% of the respondents wanted to try seruit. Based on the results of the analysis of the data we obtained, there are still many Indonesian citizens who are not familiar with this unique traditional food from the province of Lampung.
