Abstract
Perubahan karakteristik yang terjadi akibat perubahan generasi telah mempengaruhi efektifitas proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Fenomena ini membutuhkan kriteria desain baru yang kemudian diikuti dengan munculnya pedoman pembangunan gedung SMA dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Namun pada kenyataannya, terlihat jelas bahwa tipologi dan desain sekolah tidak berubah selama puluhan tahun mengikuti perubahan karakteristik dari generasi, khususnya SMA negeri di Jakarta. Setelah beberapa kali observasi, ditemukan kriteria desain yang dapat dipertimbangkan berdasarkan Pedoman Pembangunan Gedung SMA dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dengan pendekatan teori Behavioral Architecture yang menyesuaikan desain dengan sifat, kebiasaan, dan proses pembelajaran generasi. Z. Dengan kajian tersebut, konsep yang saya dapatkan adalah The New Concept of Inclusiveness dengan kriteria fungsi ruang yang lebih inklusif, mendukung dan mewadahi aktivitas sosial, menciptakan ruang yang multifungsi dan fleksibel serta ruang yang lebih dinamis dan kreatif.
