Abstract

This research is aim to make an analysis of employee motivation working in Pastry Department at Bandara International Hotel. The methodology used in this research is descriptive method with 16 people of respondents. The sampling method used is saturated sampling. Data analysis method used is descriptive method of frequency with the presentation in the form of questionnaire. The result of this research shows that the level of employee motivation working in Pastry Department at Bandara International Hotel is measured by two factors: internal motivation factor and external motivation factor. Internal factors consist of: personal maturity, personal wishes and expectations, job satisfaction, level of education, fatigue and work boredom, and needs. External factors consist of: the guaranteed career guarantee, compensation, status, responsibility and working environment conditions. The most dominant internal motivation factor is personal maturity with an average of 4.6%, while the most dominant external motivation factor is the guaranteed career guarantee with an average of 4.6 in the same rates like in personal maturity.
