Abstract
Redesain merupakan upaya perancangan ulang sebuah bangunan atau kawasan secara sebagian atau keseluruhan sehingga dapat memaksimalkan efisiensi dan fungsi dari bangunan tersebut. Pusat perbelanjaan merupakan area retail dengan fasilitasnya yang menunjang untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi para pengunjung yang ingin berbelanja. Namun munculnya banyak pusat perbelanjaan baru yang lebih menarik menyebabkan kurangnya minat para pelanggan untuk mengunjungi pusat perbelanjaan Matahari Daan Mogot lagi. Perlu adanya adaptasi dan inovasi baru sehingga bangunan ini tidak tertinggal dengan menerapkan pendekatan arsitektur adaptif. Dimana arsitektur adaptif merupakan kemampuan sebuah bangunan serta manusia dalam proses beradaptasi serta aspek lain yang mendukung interaksi yang cukup dinamis antara bangunan tersebut dan konteks masyarakatnya.
