Abstract
Kualitas hidup individu seseorang dapat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas lingkungan yang ditinggali. Permukiman pesisir kerap kali dikenal sebagai permukiman kumuh dan tidak teratur, padahal lokasi pesisir memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Penataan dan perancangan kota merupakan alat efektif untuk meningkatkan standar kota dalam aspek ekonomi, social, dan lingkungan serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup tindividu. RT 12/004 kampung cilincing menjadi objek pengamatan penelitian ini. Tata massa dan tata bangunan menurut Standar Nasional Indonesia digunakan sebagai alat ukur kelayakan dan tingkat urgensi terhadap penyelesaian masalah permukiman kumuh yang dialami di Kampung Nelayan Cilincing. Standar Nasional Indonesia juga menjadi pedoman perancangan kawasan Kampung Nelayan yang baru.
