Abstract
Hotel Indonesia merupakan hotel bintang 5 pertama di Indonesia dan Asia. Dimulai dari Bung Karno, beliau membuat hotel ini untuk kepentingan Asian Games ke- 4 di Indonesia pada tahun 1962 dan kini sudah 59 tahun berlalu. Tujuan dari storytelling ini adalah untuk mengangkat kembali sejarah dibalik Hotel Indonesia yang merupakan hotel bintang 5 pertama di Indonesia. Kami berharap jika kami bisa menjadi salah satu bagian yang bisa melestarikan bangunan ini. Di storytelling ini, data penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif metode dengan storytelling tertulis, dimana data yang diambil berdsarkan interview staff hotel yang mengetahui sejarah dari Hotel Indonesia, sejarawan dan budayawan yang berkaitan dengan Hotel Indonesia. Selain itu, data sekunder diambil dari artikel digital dan buku. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berguna dibidang pariwisata dan perhotelan di Indonesia mengenai penambahan wawasan hotel bintang 5 pertama di Indonesia.
