Abstract
Tugas akhir ini membahas redesain SMA St. Bellarminus Bekasi dalam rangka mencapai Net Zero Energy Building (bangunan hemat energi) untuk mengurangi penggunaan energi konvensional serta memenuhi kebutuhan ruang dan kenyamanan bangunan berdasarkan metode pembelajaran active learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif melalui pengamatan lapangan dan identifikasi bangunan sekolah yang ada saat ini dari segi kenyamanan ruang dan kebutuhan ruang, wawancara narasumber dan responden untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan ruang yang diinginkan bagi pengguna bangunan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa bentuk ruang pada bangunan masih kurang nyaman dari segi pencahayaan, penghawaan, serta bentuk ruang yang dibutuhkan. sehingga pada penelitian ini dilakukan upaya optimalisasi kebutuhan ruang dan meningkatkan penghawaan dan pencahayaan alami untuk mengurangi kebutuhan energi.
