Abstract
Gunung Merapi memang terkenal sebagai objek wisata di Yogyakarta, namun selain itu Merapi bukan sekedar gunung dan destinasi wisata, Merapi memiliki makna yang dalam dan banyak mitos di balik keberadaannya. Yogyakarta tidak terlepas dari keberadaan garis imajiner yang menghubungkan Laut Kidul, Parangkusumo, Panggung Krapyak, Kraton, Tugu Pal Putih, dan Gunung Merapi. Ini menekankan hubungan timbal balik antara Pencipta dan Manusia. Dalam penelitian kami, kami menemukan fakta bahwa Gunung Merapi adalah simbol manusia yang mencoba menemukan tujuan hidupnya. Mitos dan Merapi memiliki ikatan yang kuat dengan kehidupan manusia. Sebagai kesimpulan, kita sebagai manusia harus menghormati mitos sebagai peninggalan leluhur.
