Abstract
Museum Batik Cirebon, sebagai salah satu pusat pelestarian warisan budaya batik, menghadapi tantangan dalam hal aksesibilitas dan pengalaman pengunjung, khususnya bagi penyandang disabilitas netra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang Museum Batik Cirebon dengan pendekatan arsitektur multisensori yang mengintegrasikan aspek visual, haptik (sentuhan), auditori (pendengaran), dan olfaktori (penciuman) guna menciptakan ruang yang inklusif dan dapat diakses oleh semua pengunjung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan analisis konten dan wawancara mendalam bersama para pemangku kepentingan, termasuk individu penyandang disabilitas netra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan arsitektur multisensori dapat meminimalisir tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pengunjung tunanetra, meningkatkan aksesibilitas, serta memperkaya pengalaman spasial bagi semua kalangan. Desain yang diusulkan juga mengadopsi prinsip desain universal dan memperkuat identitas budaya lokal melalui inspirasi dari motif batik Mega Mendung. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan museum yang lebih inklusif serta mendorong penerapan arsitektur multisensori pada tipologi bangunan lainnya di masa mendatang.
